Do you feel lucky?

Looking for writers!

As my life has gotten exciting enough for me to neglect all of my websites, I’m looking for writers for That College Kid. If you’re interested in writing for me, please let me know.

All I want is a couple posts per week, related to college life/student productivity. If you’d like to guest blog, that works, too. Compensation will be dependent on quality of posts, not length nor quantity.

Hey, I wanted to let you know about my project I am about to launch. I’m trying to tell young people that life doesn’t end after college and they don’t have to fall into the 9-5 trap and start “real life”.

There’s no reason that people should be stuck home watching MTV and think that Rob Dydrek and Bam Margera have all the fun.

It’s going to be wild! Let me know what you think.

    Matt

well, i wanted to understand, how will you figure out that the content written by whoever you hire is going to be unique and not a copy paste from here and there?

To Rob Dydrek ,Please Read I Need Help With a Scholarship:
I have a multiple of reasons for pursuing my education for myself, for my children and because I wish to make a positive difference in the world. For myself I would like the opportunity to have enough money where one dollar misspent won’t make a difference in whether the power will stay on this month, or a deduction in groceries and if I am going to be able to make my monthly rent. I am having a hard time with getting gas in my car to make it to school. I say pay the light bill or do I put gas in the car because I have to go to school.
For my children, I would like them to know a financial security. I would like them to know I made a difference in my life where it mattered so when the time comes for them to wonder if they are to continue schooling they will do as I have done and pursue their dream. I would like for them to have a better education while they are young. I want them to have piano lessons if they have musical talent or even the desire to learn something beautiful. If my children want soccer lessons because health is a lifelong pursuit I want to do this for them, I want my children to know that it is possible to change. I want my children to know they are winners and dreams are possible and that dreams are even feasible. I want my children to know that I cared enough about them to alter our futures and in turn alter their own.
Further more, I am at a time in my life where I know if it is to be, it is up to me. I am at the point in my life, a fork in the road where I am young, but I am old enough to know what I have simply isn’t enough. This doesn’t mean just financially as I value education and value others who value it. I need more and I am not ashamed of this perception as those who know what enough isn’t find they have the courage to search for satisfaction in the answers. However, most of all I hear a small voice inside of me that says I am better than poverty. It is a voice that tells me I can make a difference in the world. I would like to have that chance. I would very like for my children to have these chances and I fear that if I do not make the right changes in my own life, my children may not either.
Therefore, for my children, for financial reasons, and for those I can help; I ask for your consideration and I ask that you value my request as it comes from a long dormant urge to learn, to change and to be edified. I ask for this chance, in my name and in my children’s name. I ask you to consider me so that everyday of the rest of my life is not spent in wondering what if? What if the opportunities have all passed me by? I know this is my chance, my dream and my future and again, I ask you to help me make this happen.
With an education, I am certain all things are possible as my mother continued her education after I was born and it took great courage and fortitude on her part to finish. Likewise, I am my mother’s child instilled with courage and fortitude and like her with a winner’s spirit. My mother earned an education both for herself and me. I am only asking to be allowed to do the same. I live and raise my children in a great, young, country where opportunity abounds and the time is now while I am young enough to alter my future and old enough to appreciate the opportunity.
I have always worked hard, but with out an education it is like running in circles. I have goals that require learning and I love to learn. My life was interrupted when I chose to be a young mother and I would not change my choices and I do not regret my children. However, it is a different me who petitions for an opportunity, It is a stronger me who asks for this chance. Because of my children, I truly feel I offer you a better self, a wiser candidate, and a more appreciative self, for consideration. Thank you for your time and the opportunity. I look forward to and await your decision.

    Thank you,
    Shanna Fish
