I wouldn't do it because I would get caught eventually. Procrastanation is like cheating. It pays of now, but doesn't pay off later. There is no such thing as being sure 100% of not being caught. It always catches up in the end in one form or another.

I guess I am the only odd one out in here but yes if I knew 100% that I would not get caught, then I would apply for this. There's also the concept of money. If they have 100% guarantee thatyou wont get caught, chances are its probably not cheap. I am a university student after all. I have no money. Also essay writing is not my forte. I would rather program in C than write an essay.

Sydney - as a recent graduate I know that as a manager you need the written skills you learn at undergrad and postgrad as much as you have during college. Not developing your cohesive writing for a project that has been set you to increase sales (or employee retention figures/possible marketing - in your example as a HR Mgr), then you'll need the writing skills you learnt in education. Not having these and cheating to get where you have will only end you up in hot water and getting a seriously bad paid job.

I definitely wouldn't do that, even if I knew I wasn't going to get caught I'd feel so guilty afterwards. Plus it's so not fair on everyone else! I can understand why some people would though as there is such a huge amount of pressure to do really well.

No. Definitely not. I take great pride in the grades that I earn on my own. I would never want to look at my grade and know that I did not get that A because of my own hard work but because I paid someone to do something for me. I am certainly not going to judge the moral rectitude of someone who uses a service like that, but it would violate my own personal principles. Even if there is no chance of getting caught, I don't think that I could stand to not feel proud of something that I turned in.

@Geoff: For some people, life is simply a game and cheating just means you get to the end quicker. Doesn't work for everyone, but for some people, it does.

@Nick: When writing academic papers, it's usually difficult to tell the difference between different authors. The basic structure and vocab is the same throughout and most teachers seriously can't tell stuff like that.

And depending on the major, it might not necessarily affect his life after school. Example: Geographic Information Science major (land surveying) - you don't need to write papers. The papers you need to write for basic English and Psych classes the college requires won't affect anything you actually do in the real world. Even a psych major who writes a crapload of papers during college doesn't always have to write anything once in the job force. If you're doing research, then yes, but just being a basic counselor or human resource manager means no academic writing.

I always think this area is not touched on often enough by teaching professionals. People like your friend are cheating themselves and I would presume if he got all of his papers this way that venturing into the 'big wide world' would cause him some trouble. As for his teachers, how could they not notice the difference in structure and coherence between the papers he submits and the paper he bought an submitted. My personal view is that if you haven't written the paper then you're not going to get far in life, a you won't learn by your mistakes, you'll cheat them away!

I wouldn't use this service, no matter how sure I am I wouldn't get caught. It's note about getting caught, its about morals. What is the point in cheating? Life is the journey, not the destination. Cheating on a paper is just cheating yourself.
